My name is Laura Easlick and I’m the author of the Cornish Maid Blog.
I am an experienced digital marketer and copywriter with a passion for all things relating to Cornwall, travel and holidays. I offer guest blogging and content writing services, as well as social media management.
My services include:
Drafting, editing and proofreading copy for your website, blog, newsletter, print materials or anything else you’re working on. As a former secondary English teacher and English graduate, I am a stickler for the accuracy of grammar and punctuation. I also have experience of writing for a range of different clients and industries, my speciality being travel & tourism.
Search Engine Optimisation
I have undertaken extensive SEO training so I know how to optimise your online content so that you’ll rank highly on Google searches. I can start by reviewing your current website and suggest some content improvements for you. I can write relevant and engaging blog content that will interest your audience and drive more traffic to your site.
Social Media Management
Just as I know Cornwall like the back of my hand, I am an avid user of different social media channels. I have lots of experience of using social media in a professional context and managed the social media channels for Visit Cornwall during my time working there.
I can implement various techniques to help your business grow its following across all social channels. If you would like to improve your social presence but you’re not sure where to start, I can advise which social media channel(s) would be most relevant and beneficial to your business.
I also often work with local brands and businesses and promote them on my own blog and social media channels. This helps them to reach a wider audience and to promote their business to more people. Brands I’ve collaborated with recently include Penlee Park Theatre, Newquay Activity Centre, Paulos Circus and Lime Kitchen in Newquay.
Finally, I am a local girl who was born at Treliske; I grew up near Truro and I currently live in Hayle. I am happy to meet locally for a discussion about marketing opportunities or I can send over my media kit and a pricing list for your consideration. As a rough guide, I would charge £50-£60 per article or blog post of between 800 and 1500 words.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements.
